Intellecap has three Practice Areas - investment banking, consulting and knowledge and information in six sectors - financial services, agriculture and rural business, clean energy, healthcare, water and sanitation and education and vocational training and the company also works across six thematic areas - gender, technology, climate change, urbanization, youth and policy. In addition, through its various Initiatives and Incubations, Intellecap builds and engages with online and offline communities constituting its key clients and partners - social enterprises, investors, multilateral agencies and development finance institutions, corporations, donors, policymakers and academia. The two major initiatives include the Sankalp Forum and the Intellecap Impact Investment Network (I3N).

Role: Marketing and Communications Manager

Location: Hyderabad/ Mumbai

Reporting: Head-Corporate Development

This digital-savvy manager will be responsible for all external marketing collateral and communications related to Intellecap, its Practice Areas and Initiatives. S/he will work to promote Intellecap's brand visibility amongst its key client and partners and to ensure coherence in message delivery across the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Creating and implementing strategic and integrated communications plans using a wide range of communications tactics to support programmatic efforts.

- Lead creation of marketing collateral for Intellecap Practice Areas (including the corporate website, brochure, corporate presentations, and templates) and Initiatives (primarily Sankalp Forum, I3N but will also include other events and initiatives around the year).

- Managing website content and working with external vendors for any changes required on it.

- Undertake periodic updates, as demanded to the above visual elements.

- Draft and disseminate all external communication to key Intellecap stakeholders - such as press releases, online announcements, twitter updates - to reflect changes in business status, growth and expansion.

- In collaboration with an external partner, liaison with relevant online and offline media, as needed to disseminate key communication materials such as press releases, the corporate newsletter, reports and publications.

- Collaborate with Intellecap Practice Areas and Initiatives to draft and disseminate internal communication material such as the newsletter.

- Work with key stakeholders of the Intellecap Knowledge Management System to organize and manage contact databases to support effective internal and external communication and business development efforts.

- Support Practice Areas to identify and use digital formats such as webinars, podcasts, discussions and chats to disseminate thought leadership and engage external audiences globally.

- Planning social media strategy and developing successful social media campaigns and online campaigns.

- Employ reporting tools to measure efficacy of digital media engagement and external communications.

Experience and Skill Requirements :

- Experience of 10 years or more.

- Strong communication skills - written and spoken - in English.

- Experience of working in diverse, multi-cultural teams and partnerships.

- Familiarity with email marketing software (e.g. Constant Contact).

- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g. Wordpress, Radiant).

- Familiarity with social media tools (e.g. Hootsuite, TweetChat, Facebook).

- Experience of using reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Radian6, Buzzlogic, Tweet Reach).

- Educational background in marketing studies and an exposure to - business led development- space, will be preferred.

- Ability to excel in independent managerial roles within a dynamic, growing business environment

- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and on multiple deadlines.

- Proficiency in MS office applications.

- Must be able to travel when necessary.

The applicant is expected to also have:

- The ability to think strategically and create strategic PR communications, plans and pitches.

- The capability of identifying strategic commercial and non-commercial media partners for expansion.

- Proven ability to source media contacts and establish good media relationships and use these to identify opportunities and place stories.

- Understanding of fundraising campaigns and the specific communication tools necessary to mobilize resources.

- Proven track record of placements in leading national media, niche publications.

- Experience working in a small team environment (including management of interns and volunteers), with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.

- Creating and managing social network environment/s
