Our client, an MNC FMCG Company is looking for the following: Position Title: Associate Director - Market Insights (Head Market Insights) Location: Mumbai JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - This role provides strategic support to the MD to drive fact-based, customer-centric decision support system, grounded on customer (i.e. Healthcare Professionals, Trade Partners and Patients / Consumer) and Market insights that will result in stronger growth plans, impactful marketing strategies and innovation pipeline. - The role will comprise the following components: primary research, market mapping, competitive analysis and business analytics built in - leveraging on external syndicated data (i.e.Nielsen, Kantar etc) & internal sales data. - Additionally, this role will collaborate closely with the Global / Pacific Asia Market Insights Partners to bring one of the 4 key strategic priorities of Market Insight to life (Business Drivers & Marketing spend effectiveness). - This capability leadership role entails bringing the best practices on Marketing ROI and developing the framework for vendor partnerships so that we can roll out more analytics support to India affiliate and share best practices to the rest of the Pacific Asia affiliates, enabling fact-based decisions on marketing and sales investments. - This is a people manager role and will have dual reporting : functionally to the Pacific Asia Market Insights Director (based in Singapore) and operationally to the MD India JOB REQUIREMENTS: - MBA/PGDM from a Top tier business school in India with interest in marketing/ consumer insights - 10+ years of experience in or across top tier FMCG / Consumer Health Care / Consulting / Agency in Marketing / Consumer & Market Insights - Worked across a spectrum of market insights tools (primary research/ syndicated research in the India market especially Nielsen RMS and Kantar Panel - Strong business analysis skills: Ability to triangulate knowledge across multiple data sources (external and internal) and come up with clear conclusions - Strong leadership & envisioning skills: Ability to develop & champion insights and demonstrate strong ownership in ensuring that growth plans are strongly rooted on consumer & market knowledge - Collaboration skills - Seamlessly work across multi-functional teams and global and regional insight teams - Develop and shape analysis and research plan working through complex stakeholder needs. - Experience in developing strong partnership with Market Insights and analytics vendors - The role is Mumbai based and would require minimal travel ( &lt;15%), mainly in South Asia region
