- Creation and implementation of market access strategies and plans for company's medical devices. The role is accountable for overall departmental leadership at the country, strategic direction, innovative thinking and collaboration with Country business leadership and Regional leadership.

- Retaining industry leadership position in HE&R in India in alignment with overall regional business strategy and global HE&R departmental vision

- Foster strong partnerships with Country/regional business leadership to conceptualize and facilitate market access projects. Drive national level reimbursement operations and payer relations; developing robust reimbursement led market intelligence support systems to improving utilization of reimbursement opportunities, and developing payer facing/provider facing value solutions targeted towards sizeable revenue impact

- Lead engagement with CXO/top-level level executives, key decision makers and influencers from insurance companies, Senior Govt. reimbursement officials, KOLs, Govt. and Corporate providers, among others to strengthen payer and provider relationships

- Drive thought leadership and industry policy on pricing, health economics, reimbursement, value-based healthcare, medical device procurement models, health technology assessment, market access via trade association representation/leadership and policy maker engagement in the Indian subcontinent.

- Develop highly strategic and innovative reimbursement models including but not limited to development of new insurance products, price volume agreements, risk-sharing models

- Contribute with original ideas, best practices, and winning strategies to the Global Health Economics & Reimbursement group to drive international synergies across regions, functions, divisions and others as the case may be

- Conceptualize and implement in partnership with Country leadership, innovative programmes aimed at market development across the company's product portfolio aimed at share growth and/or market expansion. These could include but not limited to alternate channel strategy, device/healthcare financing, data analytics, corporate account strategy, identifying opportunities for collaboration with med-tech/pharma companies (cross-industry partnerships) for developing strategic tie-ups

Tasks:

- Management of HE&R staff in country, incl objective setting, performance reviews and career development

- Serve as Country functional leader responsible for internal cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, clinical, finance, clinical, regulatory and others departments as needed

- Responsible for developing departmental budgets, operating plans, strategic plans and reporting into Regional HE&R leadership

- Effective communication to Business leaders and other internal customers

- Engage in leading positions at industry association level and with other, related platforms

- Organization of local and regional roundtable and other events for internal and external customers

Desired Criteria:

- Candidate from Healthcare Consulting / Health Insurance / Pharma / Medical Device industries are preferred

- Candidate must have experience of delivering the projects in domestic market with strong local networking skills

- Commercial background, P&L management, strong business process, customer facing is a must.
