Head - Manufacturing Operations - EV Industry

- Manage the functions of Quality, Production, Procurements, Stores and Logistics activity in the company.

- Manage a production plant and deliver products meeting highest quality standards that market wants

- Prepare the production plan, and oversee and control the production schedule.

- Ensure all outbound finished goods reaching customers are of the highest quality standard and do everything needed to meet this critical requirement.

- Drive plant Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (QCDP) performance and build and meet the plant budget.

- Drive product/process, optimize plant lay-out and equipment usage. Ensure customer satisfaction.

- Drive supplier performance improvement and ensure all necessary documentation of the processes and meeting relevant legalities involved.

- Ensure manufacturing readiness and new product launches at plant level.

- Drive plant improvement networks and involve everyone in continuous improvement processes. Ensure employees safety, respect for the environment and security of the plant. Manage social climate and labor relations.

- Fulfil legal responsibilities and interface with local authorities

- Ensure staffing, induction, training and development of plant employees.

Qualification :

- BE/Btech- Electrical & Electronics

- Must have experience in TQM, Lean Manufacturing and Six sigma certification is added advantage.

- Must have strong production and operations management experience.

- Comprehensive understanding of markets Excellent written, communication/negotiation and presentation skills. Excellent Leadership and team building skills. Ability to coach and nurture talent.

- Hands on experience of managing #Electric two wheeler and #three wheeler operations with end to end responsibility. Very high understanding of #EV powertrains consisting of the motor, controller, VCU, battery pack with BMS, electrical circuitries, power electronics, HMI and other relevant areas of an #EV.
