Maxima Global Executive Search is working in partnership with our client who is a major player globally in precision engineering Industry, with an instant brand recall with world-class capabilities in designing, tooling,, manufacturing complex and high precision components with a customer base which includes Defence, Global OEMs, Automotive, Aerospace sectors. Building on an impressive reputation within the markets in which they serve, they now have ambitious plans for India Region and require a Head of Operations for their state-of-the-art facility in India to drive production and continuously improve the organizations processes of multiple manufacturing sites..

Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will be responsible for the entire aspects of operations which includes production, planning, and effective processes in order to satisfy their customer's daily schedule and on-going continuous improvements. Responsibilities include:

- Support the Customer focused vision of the Company. Lead all aspects of multiple manufacturing sites, with eye on detail on productivity, quality, operations, health & safety, customer satisfaction, man management cost control, effective planning, resource management and leading various managers in respective domains leading for the effective operations of the units. The incumbent will have a thorough understanding of the machine shops, CNC five axis machines and all other machines of the precision engineering industry.

The Successful Applicant

- Technical engineering degree (Mechanical, Manufacturing,.) with a post qualification experience of 20 years out of which at least 4-5 years in a leadership role, in large multinational or regional automotive/aerospace/precision engineering conglomerates with a reputation of being the suppliers for the top 100 companies in their domain.

- Strong knowledge about process engineering, Precision machining, ( aero/auto) lean manufacturing and visual Management System, excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with global clients, various offices across the globe and the board of directors This is an excellent opportunity which provides a world class working environment and equally interesting career growth
