Head - Supply Chain Manager

Requirements:- 20+ years of experience in supply chain management for electrical goods companies
- Experience in running end-to-end business verticals and managing large teams
- Proven track record of implementing successful change/transformation with positive results
- Strong relationships with key players in the service provider/vendor networks (logistics, warehousing, etc.)
- Prior experience in wires and cables industry and/or management consulting is preferred

Accountabilities:Responsibilities:Authorities:- Design and build industry leading supply chain
- Develop strategic plan for industry leading agile supply chain function catering to evolving needs of customer
- Establish best practices to improve core processes, cost, and systems necessary to meet current and future production targets and quality standards
- Design and build supply chain structure to optimize cost of manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, inventory and stores while meeting customer requirements
- Drive teams to unlock value through process improvement and cost reduction initiatives
- Drive implementation of best practices across all levers of supply chain

- Setup a robust S&OP process
- Run a structured monthly S&OP process with the right set of metrics & norms
- Work with stakeholders (CPO, sales/ business leaders of businesses & manufacturing) to identify issues and provide relevant solutions
- Monthly calendar and data insights
- Establish logistics solutions at all levels
- Develop strategic partnerships with local/regional as well as national logistics providers for domestic supply chain
- New logistic service provider additions
- Warehousing and depot management for nationwide customer fulfilment
- Design solutions to achieve target service levels across the value chain
- Develop solution to manage inventory at different stages, with strategies to minimize inventory across the value chain while meeting customer requirements
- New processes inline with accounts and taxation
- Build and execute capex strategy
- Develop and execute prioritized capex budget, projects and processes in line with strategic business goals
- Ensure success completion of capex projects under supply chain within time and resource limits
