Head of Management Audit

I am the founder - Chairman of Quest Consultants (www.questconsultants.in), which has established by me in 1982. We operate out of Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.

A large and well respected Indian Multinational belonging to one of the largest business groups of Eastern India has entrusted us with the selection of the Head of Management Audit.

Our Client : It is a five decade old established manufacturing company respected both in India and abroad.

In line with the Group’s philosophy of recruiting only the best talent available in the country the person we are looking for must be intellectually outstanding and a knowledge-based leader in the area of Management & Internal Audit.

- The position is based in Kolkata.

Experience : 15-20 years’ experience in Manufacturing Industries particularly in Steel Making, Iron Ore and Coal Mining and Power Plants.

Principal accountabilities are:

- To review various policies and actions of management to ensure that these are in line with organization goal.

- To identify level of achievements of the main objectives of various departments of all the Business units of the Company.

- To suggest to management ways and means available to the Company to improve profitability.

- To check on effectiveness of managers and their compliance with company’s policy and professional standards

- To check the reliability of management data and information systems

- To check the adequacy and timeliness of the Management information systems in providing information’s to enable effective planning and control of operations.

- To verify all the major supply chain contracts of various departments of all the business units.

- To verify the company's ERP system and data processing systems are in line to implement operational best practices

- To co-ordinate with audit committee for internal audit programme.

- To co-ordinate with internal auditor and analyze their reports and present to management.

Reporting to : Managing Director

Desired Qualification : The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant
