Head - Machine Learning - IT

As part of the corporate CTO organization works on forward-looking projects in the areas of machine learning, deep learning, and other artificial intelligence technologies. As the Head of Machine Learning Group, the candidate is expected to:

- Define the long-term direction for the group, execute on it, provide overall thought leadership and grow the unit.

- Design, analyze, and build modular learning architectures that can process, analyze, and model massive amounts of structured and unstructured data (e.g., text, images, video, and speech) from a wide range of domains such as Banking and Financial Services, Health Care and Life Sciences, IoT, etc.

- Keep abreast of latest developments to provide advice and hands-on experience for a targeted set of high-value business applications.

- Quantify the essential trade-offs within various approaches, libraries, and learning models, especially in the context of client projects.

- Lead the efforts to design, implement, and deploy end-to-end robust at-scale, enterprise-grade machine learning solutions for Organisation and its clients.

- Collaborate with other groups in the CTO organization to develop novel, cross-disciplinary solutions leveraging machine learning

- Build a team of engineers in the group, mentor and train them in addressing complex technical issues in machine learning.

- Take an active role in effectively communicating the impact, leadership, and recommendations of the group to the senior management.

- Establish brand in the machine learning space through written publications, talks, panel discussions both in industry and academia.
