Head - M&A Advisory - Chemical

My Client is an established market leader in Phthalic Anhydride, with strong market recognition and excellent plant facilities - international standards. They are equipped with one of the largest capacity at a single location, the Company caters to local and international markets. They are the number 1 Indian manufacturer of Phthalic Anhydride and one of the largest and lowest cost producers of PAN.

My Client is looking for an individual, more from the perspective of technical feasibility along with an acumen for financial evaluation. Someone who is aware of the Chemical Industry trends & has a hang to identify businesses that are buy/investment worthy.

Education: Chemical engineer with an MBA in finance & prior experience in working with EPC consulting companies.

This is an Individual Contributor role reporting to MD & CEO & work closely with the CFO & CSO. However, can take the help of consultants or Analysts if required.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Performing industry research to identify opportunities for growth within existing businesses or expansion into new areas.

- Developing detailed financial models and valuation analysis for potential transactions and leading the team in compiling research, developing models and valuation scenarios.

- Coordinating and implementing due diligence for potential transactions.

- Leading negotiations of transaction terms and legal documentation.

- Interfacing with finance, legal, tax and other departments to ensure seamless deal execution.

The role is responsible for market scanning, evaluation, diligence, financial modeling, transaction coordination, execution and documentation finalization. Under the general direction of a CFO, supports the Mergers & Acquisition (M&A). Assists and advises the CFO, the COO, respective BU Directors, and the senior leadership team on matters relating to corporate development, M&A, and strategy.
