Logistics Head - Building Materials
- The candidate must be able to add new initiatives into the logistic Management by introducing best practices through continuous benchmarking.
- Good Experience in Primary and secondary Logistic
- Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
- Drove (inbound & outbound) logistics operations, fleet management, and negotiation with freight forwarders for timely delivery of the materials required
- Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle
- Liaising and negotiating with 3PL service providers, manufacturers and customers
- Collaborated with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems such as Customer sales, Order management, Accounting.
- Analyzed the financial impact of proposed logistics changes such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes, product mix as per monthly sales plan and yearly budgets for specific markets
- Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Arranging warehouse, keeping a check on inventory levels, planning routes and processing purchase orders
- Control and monitor all logistic activities related to domestic with cost effectiveness and timely delivery of shipment to plant as well as customer end.
- Supervising, coaching and training operations team
- Meeting cost productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Maintaining performance metrics and analyzing data to assess performance and implement improvements
Experience Required :
- Experience in Building material industry
- Strong business and commercial understanding
