Client : Top notch firm in agri

Candidate experience : Should be an MBA with 15+ years of experience in logistics ideally in edible oil or agri industry.

Responsibilities :

- Manages the all Logistical functions with total flow of products from plant to customers.

- To Plan & ensure smooth operation of in-Bound and Out-Bound logistics

- Handling of Bulk EXIM operations involving both Exports & Imports, liasioning with the CHA / Shipping Lines for Rate negotiation / Contract, Other Govt. Bodies like DGFT etc.

- Strategic network optimization, including the number, location, and size of warehousing distribution, and facilities.

- Optimize use of all kind of mode of transports Rail / Road / Air /Sea.

- Monitoring and controlling freight and other operation expenses through cost analysis, choosing appropriate CHA and providing desire support for timely execution of work.

- Negotiation of Transportation contract / 3 P Contract/C&F Contract Consultancy contract etc.

- Sustaining existing network & distribution channels to meet targets of supply against demand.

- To strengthen Supply Chain Management Functions with a view to focus more on strategy formulation and implementation to ensure continuity of supply across product range, cost effectiveness and flow of material while achieving profit objectives.

- Monitors Transportation Management Cost

- Insurance Risk Analysis, Physical Verification of assets.

- Formulation of standard Operating procedure (SOP) for commercial & logistics activities pertaining to both project and MFG Operation

- Taking adequate measures to monitor and analyze the performance of transporters pertaining to cost, quality and delivery norms.

- Supervising operations of cross functional units to achieve efficiency in all aspects of customer service delivery cycle, ensuring timely delivery, timely MIS and proof of delivery.

- Coordinating with the CHA and Suppliers for custom clearance
