Head - Less Than Container Load - Courier/Transportation/Freight Firm (5-15 yrs)
- A minimum of 5 years field sales in LCL freight forwarding activities across South Asia Thorough operational knowledge of LCL processes.
- Facilitate ocean product development by complementing area-specific product deliverables, as well as by providing recommendations of new products, that benefit the area. This includes, identifies new opportunities to strengthen our ocean product and providing local market feedback with respect to industry trend.
- Secure new LCL (Less Than Container Load) customers who have not previously used the organization. Continually qualify biz prospects by following up on multiple sales calls/visits per day/week/month as per KPI's identified.
- Upsell additional services to the existing client base to increase volume and sales revenue.
- Generate sales leads using company provided resources as well as from your own development. Support ad-hoc sales development campaigns to drive increased sales.
- Collaborate with all sales channels and resources, including Trade Lane Sale Managers, Product leaders, and all others needed to shorten the selling cycle and close business.
- Drive development of products in close cooperation with Commercial and Product team to support trade lane development as per overall Ocean strategy.
