Legal Head - Mumbai

- Responsible for taking appropriate legal action for recovery of dues.

- Advising on Litigations filed by and against the Company viz. Writ Petitions, Appeals, Public Interest Litigations, Suits, Summary Suits, Consumer litigation, Criminal complaints, SARFAESI Act, Complaints u/s. 138 of N.I. Act, Bail and Anticipatory Bail applications, Labor matters, Private and Police Criminal Complaints, Rent and Eviction matters etc.

- Appointing & liaison with Company Advocates and Solicitors and acting as In-house Legal Counsel.

- Reviewing Legal Notices and responses to Legal notices in high stake matters. Reviewing extensive research work and examining case laws for preparation of cases, trials in high stake matters.

- Briefing the senior counsel during arguments by preparing Case Papers, Citations for various legal proceedings.

- Relevant Experience (15+ yrs.) from NBFC /Financial Institutions out of which minimum 5 years shall be in the Audit / Finance / Compliance / Legal / Risk Management functions.

- Good understanding of industry and risk management, knowledge of regulations, legal framework and sensitivity to supervisor's expectations.

- Bachelor's/Masters/PhD degree (related field).
