Job Description:

Legal Head - Documentation and Regulatory

- Exposure to legal regulatory and compliance also need to ensure that our documentation (loan agreements, etc) meet the regulatory purpose,

- Need to ensure that IT and other agreements are compliant from a data privacy standpoint.

- Someone who has extensively done documentation in a NBFC sector would be preferred.

- Will be actively involved in all our documentation , in negotiations and contracts.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the entire legal department, including lawyers, paralegals, and legal support staff.

- Oversee all legal affairs of the company, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to the CEO, executive team, and board of directors.

- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations and strategic initiatives.

- Manage and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to safeguard the company's interests.

- Stay informed about current legal trends and developments relevant to the company's industry.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with external legal counsel.

- Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience in a Bank/NBFC
