Our client is into media and entertainment, looking for Head Legal.  Location: Mumbai  - Candidate should have experience in media organisation's(print,tv,radio,magazines,agency) legal, CS and regulatory matters.  Education: LLB or LLB and CS(added advantage)  Job Profile:  - Coordinate legal support within the organization and follow internal approval processes  - Function as a strategic partner to help the business solve problems and advance business goals. Manage and provide legal support including counseling, negotiation and drafting of agreements (e.g. sale, installation and maintenance of equipment's ; procurement; guarantees), litigation support and regulatory support.   - Review contractual documents for accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations and internal policies  - Monitor and establish controls to ensure compliance with laws and regulations (e.g. Code of Conduct, safety and quality) across functions and provide training on legal and compliance issues  - Analyze new laws and regulations for potential impact on the India Operations policies and procedures  - Handling of legal cases and coordinating with the advocates   - Liaison with solicitors / consultant / government officials / statutory boards   - Research matters   - IP related issues   - Legal work related to Radio/TV business   - Drafting & vetting of legal documents like MOU, Agreement, Undertakings, Special Power of Attorney etc.   - Providing advice on various legal issues involved in business/ commercial transactions   - Legal and compliance issues for the organization .  Smita.
