We have been retained by our client to identify a Head legal for them. We require an incumbent with Corporate Legal exposure. Role : Head (Legal) Qualification : LLB from a good institute Reporting: CFO Years of experience : 15-20 yrs exp, Team : 2 to 4 members Preferred industries: Automotive and Manufacturing companies with at least one global office Candidate should have experience in 1. Litigation, 2. PIL, 3. Land settlements, 4. Documentation, 5. International arbitration, 6. International M&A legal documentation, 7. Warranty and Customer Contract review, 8. Internal contract documentation review 9. Additionally the role oversees/supervises indirect taxation including Sales tax, VAT, Excise ( now GST) 10. Discussion and dealings with lawyers, advocates, representation of matters in courts. 11. Exposure to international legal matters
