Job Description:
- Provides Legal Opinions to various departments in order to guide them for smooth functioning.
- Review and implementation of all the Legal / Law Enforcing Documents pertaining to charge creation & security creation with an intention to secure the best interest of the organisation
- Ensuring Issuance of notices/reply to the notices, vetting internal group company agreements, affidavits, letters, Company Resolution, General/specific General Power of Attorney and applications to Government Departments and Regulatory bodies like RBI/ SEBI / IRDA etc
- Highlighting the legal risk which the company will have to face in any decision involving day to day functioning or taking any stand in a particular case relating to the company
- Advising the management with regards to legal intricacies involving the day to day functioning of business
- Getting updated with the latest legal developments in the securities law and other laws which are related to the field
- Create a proper structure in the legal department with allocation of responsibilities
- Leading, Monitoring and Managing all activities in the legal department
Experience Required:
- Education: LLB or LLM
- Minimum 14 - 17 years experience in Financial industry (SEBI)
- Experience in handling legal matters and Sound in-depth Knowledge of Laws of the Country.
- Good People manager skills is necessary
- Good communication skills - Verbal / Written
- Team working, Coaching, Guiding and Mentoring skills
- Ability to take decisions independently keeping the interests of the company.
