Head - Legal - Infrastructure/Projects/Construction

Client is the Indian multinational engaged in EPC Projects, Hi-Tech Manufacturing and Services with over USD 21 billion in revenue. It operates in over 30 countries worldwide. A strong, customer- focused approach and the constant quest for top-class quality have enabled to attain and sustain leadership in its major lines of business for eight decades.

This position is responsible for the effective and efficient management of legal department, provision of legal advisory services and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks. In total this position will have 5-6 key purposes namely:-

- Providing Directional Leadership to the entire legal function and team

- Prevention and Mitigation legal Risks facing the organization

- Policy Development and Advisory services to the Management team

- Litigation Management and representation

- Regulatory Compliances and Audits

- Contract Negotiation, documentation &drafting's

- Providing strategic guidance to entities operating in foreign countries.

- Strategic support in M&A activities.

- Built one legal team for the entire business.

Legal team under this position will emerge as strong and self sufficient team to reduce dependence on external consultants. This position will adhere to complete confidentiality norms while providing legal support to cement business and render legal advisory services to group units.
