This position is for a corporate lawyer with relevant experience. Experience and expertise sought is in the field of Legal contracts. The position will be accountable to set up and run a team that will be instrumental in supporting Legal contracts work being done currently.

The ideal candidate must have:

- Experience of working on legal contracts, has negotiated on the legal contracts with clients, partners, vendors, etc.

- Dealt with complex legal contracts.

- Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions

- Identify risks and issues, suggests alternatives that lead to the best solution

- Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met

- Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.

- Responsible for consultation and escalation to a senior director, of contractual, business or CM positioning issues which are not solved satisfactorily by the project team in a timely manner

- Manage daily workload of assigned Contract Management personnel and project or business personnel assisting with the contract management function

- Acts as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly

- Responsible for assigned Contract Management, project or business personnel adhering to company policies and procedures

- Responsible for informing the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance

- Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement

- Contracts Drafting and Vetting

- Negotiate requested changes to standard form agreements for consulting, training, personnel agency and agreements for the supply of the firm’s proprietary electronic services, prepared by Administration personnel;

- Review standard form Agreement prepared by administration personnel;

- Responding to internal inquiries regarding rights and obligations under existing agreements;

- Extensive contact with business personnel within the firm, and with external suppliers

Qualifications:

- Experience of working with senior level executives from other countries

- Masters degree in Law and Minimum of 15 years of experience as a lawyer with an international company and/or a top tier law firm
