Head - Legal - Compliance - NBFC

This is a recently established new age financial institution strongly backed by established investors. The founders and partners have been industry leaders in their practice in India and globally and are very well renowned globally in the Financial Services space.

The primary responsibility of the Head of Compliance and Legal will be to build and lead the compliance and legal function.

1. Bring a strategic mindset to manage compliance and legal function. Be a business enabler, while managing risks.

2. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, review and approve product and processes from a compliance and legal viewpoint.

3. Regulatory compliance, build and implement Board policies and controls on compliance.

4. Draft, review, negotiate legal contracts with strategic partners, investors, fin-tech partners, outsourcing vendors.

Desired Experience and Skills :

1. 10 plus years of experience in compliance and / legal function of a leading NBFC/fin-tech/bank in India.

2. Law / Management / CS from a leading institution.

3. Team player, ability to work with cross functional leaders.
