Contract Law:
- Provide legal direction and manage contractual and transnational matters and related regulatory issues, including compliance on contractual arrangements and commercial transactions.
Compliance, HR and Employment Matters:
- Work closely with the business teams, provide legal counsel, regular training and assistance on compliance matters, including company policies and procedures.
- Strict compliance multi-country employment laws.
- Flag, report and manage commercial compliance related to IP and trademarks protection.
Transnational Projects:
- Prepare and/or review legal documentation for company incorporation, foreign bank accounts, acquisitions, joint ventures and other significant agreements and transactions
- Coordinate and manage legal aspects of tasks required to evaluate, develop terms and close transactional matters, including due diligence, document review, the identification and resolution of operational and legal issues, the obtaining of regulatory and third-party approvals and closing.
Regulatory, Secretarial & Corporate Governance:
- Compliance with FEMA provisions for setting up companies, branches and regular reporting
- Compliance with corporate governance norms and other regulatory requirements / provisions
- Compliance with New Companies Act 2013
- All sorts of secretarial compliance
