Head - Legal & Company Secretary - FMCG/Manufacturing

Role: Providing Overall Strategic Leadership and Managing All Leading Legal, Contracts management and negotiation, Drafting, Litigation, Legal compliances, Company Secretarial Corporate Compliance, Governance, Listing requirements, Investors Relations/ Services, Dealing with Lawyers, Government and Regulatory authorities, Inhouse Legal Advisory, and Business Support, etc. at Group Corporate level.

Major Job Responsibilities:

- He will be responsible for handling all Litigation/Arbitration, and Non-Litigation matters of the Company.

- S/He will be responsible for handling all Litigation/Arbitration, and Non-Litigation matters of the Company.

- S/He will handle all Contracts & agreements, and related documentation, pertaining to Domestic & International Business.

- Hands on experience of Negotiating, Drafting, and Finalizing Commercial Contracts and Real Estate Agreements for all Businesses/Other requirements for Leasing, and Leave & Licenses.

- S/He will also be responsible for all legal matter related to Tender screening, Merger and Acquisition, joint venture, copyright etc.

- S/He should be good in Drafting, vetting & reviewing Legal Documents, Lease Deeds, Licenses, Contracts, and MOUs, Notices, Representations to Govt. Authorities, Replies, Letters, Claim Petitions, Written Statements, Rejoinders, Memorandums of Understandings, Power of Attorneys, Affidavits and Applications etc.

- Liasioning with and briefing Advocates/Counsels for filing and defending civil, criminal, consumer forum, FSSA, Legal Metrology cases.

- Liasioning with various Govt. departments and regulatory authorities, i.e. FSSA, Metrology, State Ministry of Industry, Electricity Board, for various licensing and other matters; and also SEBI, stock exchange, MCA/ROC, etc.

- Should have hands on experience and good knowledge in various Laws - Corporate Laws, Company Law, Competition Law, Merger & Acquisition Law, Commercial Law, Industrial Laws, Labour Law, Environmental Law, All Intellectual Property Laws, including Trademarks/Copyrights/Patents, Fiscal Law Laws including on Banking/ FEMA/RBI
