Job Title: Head L&D/ Training

Location: Mumbai (Work from office)

Budget: 80 - 1.5cr

As the Head of Learning and Development/Training at India's leading fashion and food/beverages retailer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organizational learning agenda. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive learning and development strategies to foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement across the company. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in designing and implementing learning programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of employees in the fashion and food/beverages retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute the learning and development strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

- Collaborate with senior management to identify organizational learning needs and priorities.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in learning and development to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

2. Program Development and Implementation:

- Design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive learning programs, including onboarding, leadership development, technical training, and soft skills development.

- Utilize a variety of learning methodologies, including instructor-led training, e-learning, simulations, and on-the-job learning, to cater to different learning styles and preferences.

- Ensure learning programs are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's culture and values.

3. Content Development and Curation:

- Oversee the development and maintenance of high-quality learning content, including courses, modules, videos, and job aids.

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content relevance, accuracy, and alignment with learning objectives.

- Curate external learning resources and partnerships to supplement internal learning offerings.

4. Training Delivery and Facilitation:

- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars as needed.

- Develop a network of internal trainers and facilitators to support decentralized learning initiatives.

- Monitor and evaluate training delivery effectiveness and adjust methodologies as needed.

5. Learning Technology Management:

- Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.

- Leverage data analytics to track learning metrics, measure program effectiveness, and inform decision-making.

6. Talent Development and Succession Planning:

- Partner with HR and departmental leaders to identify high-potential employees and develop tailored development plans.

- Support succession planning efforts by identifying and nurturing talent pipelines for key roles within the organization.

7. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

- Ensure learning programs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain the integrity and effectiveness of learning initiatives.
