Location : Mumbai base location. 30% travel to Singapore.

Our client is an established Global Telco Organisation who consistently endeavors to improve systems and processes. We are seeking an experienced individual to head the Learning & Development department, with the passion and drive to design, build and maintain a training program that encompasses the continuing education and professional development needs of across all divisions, including Management level. A high emphasis will be placed on Graduate Program Talent training & career progression management.

You will work collaboratively with department leaders and subject matter experts, to build and continually refine existing programs, as well as implement new ones, in order to assure that all departments remain current on the expanding and evolving technical requirements

We are seeking a senior individual who encompasses change and thrives on upholding development strategies that will promote change and development throughout the Asia Pacific Region. You will be responsible for the entire cycle of L&D for the whole pacific region.

Some of your key responsibilities will include :

- Manages internal user groups to include working with the leader of each group to identify topics and presenters and managing the scheduling and logistics for each meeting

- Develop and maintain configuration, how-to documentation, presentation decks and Standard Operation Procedure

- Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content and methods of reproduction

- Leverage internal subject matter experts to organize and document products, technologies and processes necessary for each discipline

- Research, recommend and implement a learning management system to assist in training

- Conduct follow-up studies and evaluations of completed training to evaluate and measure results

- Continually re-evaluate how to more effectively and efficiently onboard and train staff

- Assure that all new employees receive the required background, training and testing prior to assuming any direct responsibilities

- You will be tertiary qualified in Training & Development. Must have the proven ability to write and chart process/workflow, reports, manuals and white papers that explain technical ideas in simple language.

- Demonstrates an understanding of learning theory and performance improvement. You will be a highly motivated individual able to grasp complex custom applications and learn quickly.

- You will have the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and align activities to meet organizational goals.

- Your excellent communication skills and ability to work under tight time frames will see you secure this very sought after position.
