Head - Accounts (Leadership Level ) We have an urgent requirement with one of the well known group. Designation : Head Accounts The incumbent will report into the Financial Controller Financial Reporting : - Work on financial accounting policy and processes, oversee and ensure timely preparation of company books of accounts as per companies act and present to Financial Controller Head for finalization, provide clarifications sought by statutory auditors, study final accounts as approved by the board, collate and analyze relevant information, prepare draft report, seek approval and get company books of accounts published in order to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial statement for the organization Accounts Receivables : - Supervise timely and accurate book keeping for accounts receivable, ensure accurate collection of sales and collections data, oversee posting of data in collections account, reconcile with collections with bank, ensure adherence and other guidelines and prepare monthly exception report in order to ensure accurate accounting of receivables and maintain accurate book keeping of account receivables Accounts Payables : Financial Control : - Responsible for checking targets and monitoring the performance of Sales & Projects department within the business in line with their set budgets. Ensure to implement and maintain all financial controls and systems within the business, identifying and recommending potential operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures this would include Financial and business. Fund Allocation : - Based on the sales report & collection report to make the fund allocation to process invoices to release the payments and expenditures of all vendors & suppliers within established time limits. Reporting & Analytics : - Ensure timely and accurate preparation, presentation and delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to the concerned parties (senior management, corporate head office, Board auditors etc.) as per Accounting policy requirements, expected standards and agreed timeframes/deadlines. Balance Sheet : - Drive detailed reviews of Balance Sheet and ensure its integrity through regular reconciliation backed up with documentary evidence Financial Audit : - Facilitate statutory audit process with necessary information and documentation and handle all accounts audit related queries in order to ensure compliance of all procedures and practices as per statutory norms. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: - Financial Accounting (Procedures and Regulations), Companies Act., Awareness of the latest changes in Tax Laws and Regulations. - Good understanding of financial concepts and reconciliations. - Displaying Entrepreneurial Spirit. - Set clear and specific goals for self and team; monitor progress of self and others. - Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Excellent listening and interpersonal skills. - Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail.
