A leading CPG firm is looking for the Head - Operational Excellence -IT
The incumbent should have strong knowledge on
- SAP
- Re-engineering and Transformation through Lean / Six sigma
- IT Applications.
Ideally someone who is currently working in the capacity of a CIO and has grown strongly from SAP.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Operational Excellence (ie: continuous improvement) in IT E&A system management processes including: Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management and Configuration Management for Applications and component software. Utilize LEAN concepts to drive decisions for actions, find workarounds to roadblocks, cost savings and improve speed to delivery opportunities.
- Track, measure, and improve the effectiveness of IT service delivery partners. Initiate counter-measures and tactics to improve intrinsic value
- Facilitate team management implementation of the Four Disciplines of Execution, LEAN and Plan/Do/Check/Adjust concepts and processes in order to reduce operating support and increase application delivery volume and/or velocity.
- Facilitate IT leadership operational excellence processes including report generation, meeting facilitation, ad hoc investigation and reporting. Establish and track metrics and measures to communicate system stability and operational management information to business and IT leadership.
- Advise IT team members regarding processes, standards and methods.
- Improve resource effectiveness via common usage of metrics, tools, templates which are used for IT application solutions delivery.
- Provide response for major incidents which impact to take orders, make product, ship, collect cash, and pay vendors / employees (SAP platform)
