Job Responsibilities: - Develop strategy &amp; roadmap to strengthen IT security posture of the organization along with CISO - Develop &amp; publish dashboard to measure security posture of existing controls based on security metrics - Identify &amp; analyze pain areas in existing security operations / architecture &amp; implement improvements - Configuration management &amp; period reviews to ensure optimum security, availability, performance and capacity - Ensure the coverage and effectiveness of security operations and deployed solutions - Ensure that the existing security processes &amp; procedures are followed and devise new and/or optimize existing as required - Ensure up-to-date documentation - SOPs, Architecture etc. - Measure, manage &amp; report - availability, performance, capacity, risks &amp; SLAs from business perspective - Establish operations &amp; support functions to manage life-cycle of request, event, incident, problem and change - Ensure compliance with organization policy, audit &amp; regulatory requirements and closure of findings if any - Act as a L3 support for the identification, investigation and resolution of security incidents and issues in existing &amp; newly implemented security solutions - Handle and address escalations - Escalate deviations and violations in a timely manner. - Budgeting - CAPEX &amp; OPEX - Vendor Management, focus on building partner ecosystem - manage periodic MIS &amp; SLAs reviews, payments &amp; penalties, renewal of support contracts and licenses in timely manner - Publish the relevant MIS, dashboards and status updates to all stake holders - Remain current with organizations security policies, latest security advisories/threats and industry best-practices. Security Device &amp; Solutions Administration - Manage operation, administration, configuration&amp; support of various IT security devices, solutions and technologies deployed to Prevent, Protect, Shield, Defend, Respond &amp; Remediate - Ensure BAU by delivering agreed service levels to business - Ensure latest stable version of the solution - Ensure hardening and latest security patches - Ensure backups and retention as required. SOC - Establish and operate SOC 24x7 to monitor, hunt &amp; detect suspicious events and incidents - Act as an eye and ears of IT Security by monitoring 24x7 alerts/logs from various sources &amp; services like anti-phishing, ant-rogue app monitoring, DDoS, Malware Monitoring etc. - Ensure the coverage in terms of all required sources &amp; logs/events of interest are defined and monitored - Establish Security Incident Management process from investigation to closure of suspicious events &amp; incidents. - Develop &amp; operate 24x7 Security Incident Managementand Emergency Response team - Establish Cyber Crisis Management Plan - Ensure tickets are closed in timely manner - Publish relevant MIS reports &amp; dashboards periodically - Remain updated with latest security advisories / threats and act in a timely manner to mitigate the risks Vulnerability Management - Establish Vulnerability Management framework &amp; process including Vulnerability assessment, treatment, acceptance/exception - Manage VAPT and Secure Configuration Management process - Establish customized security configuration and hardening baseline documents for various systems, devices and platforms - Ensure the coverage and track new assets &amp; applications which are going live and VA/PT, Security Configuration Assessment are conducted before going live and periodically after going live. - Facilitate &amp; follow-up for the closure of the identified vulnerabilities including patch management with respective teams. - Exception Management - Monitor &amp; periodic review of exceptions - Identify, recommend &amp; facilitate to implement necessary compensatory controls like WAF, Network IPS, &amp; HIPS etc. - Publish periodic dashboard to track vulnerability posture considering with and without implemented compensatory controls.
