Purpose of Job: As Head of IT for Retail Lending Business, the incumbent will drive and own the IT charter. S/he will aim to give competitive edge to the retail business by proactively strategizing and delivering in an agile manner Application Support, Analytics, IT Infra across zones & Compliance. Role & responsibilities: Strategy and Platform Development/Design - Provide vision & strategy, enable innovation and seek to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the company's requirements and expectations - Create and lead the implementation of retail platforms by leveraging emerging digital technologies in a multi cloud - Drive the technology culture transformation agenda along with the group partnering with Business Teams, including internal and external technology branding IT Infrastructure: - Accountable for all Infrastructure solutions and services across datacenter, network and security services as well as end user computing services provided to the business user community, which is spread across India in 300+ branches - Assess and introduce latest innovations in the IT Infrastructure space to the business - Design IT Infrastructure service models aligning to business models Stakeholder and Data Management - Work closely with functional teams to identify key data requirements, standardize data management and develop key data templates required by different functions - Understand the role of data and analytics across the application and in the functioning of monitoring and risk Management (e.g. assessment of project cash flows, use of scorecards for evaluation etc.) Implementation and Budget Management - Liaise with external consultants, internal stakeholders (business heads and teams) and IT team during implementation of the required technology platforms - As part of owning the wholesale IT budget, take accountability for all technology expense and portfolio budgets - Identifying proactive opportunities for cost savings through automation, improving service quality. Standards & Governance: - Development of enterprise standards and technology architecture and the IT operations governance process - Work closely with and manage strategic vendor partner relationship along with governance - Participate in the formulation of the company's enterprise architecture and business system plans; assessing cost and feasibility, and ensuring the plan is aligned with and supports the strategic goals of the business - Leadership for delivery of IT service operations and KPI compliance - Keep up to date with technology trends and developments Qualifications : - Experience with leading retail lending organizations/Fin-techs/Banks/Insurance - B.E./B.Tech Skill/ Experience required: - 14+ years developing, managing and implementing IT solutions - Sound knowledge of the Retail Finance/Fintech/Payments/Banks domain - Knowledge of Application Support, 3P Apps, IT Infrastructure & Compliance. - Expertise in defining service standards and guidelines that serve as benchmark for excellent service delivery - Program management skills for driving organization change management and technology changes - Strong data management fundamentals, excel skills & basic data analytics
