Organisation Business Model - Digital Lending Marketplace Organisation Lifecycle Stage - Start-up Job Role Brief: - As Head of IT and Operation, it will be his/her responsibility to architect and oversee the development of the entire technology platform along with IT Partner and all the Lending - Partners for all aspects of the lead generation and end to end processing of lead, i.e. application, automated decisioning, 3rd party financial data-source integration, loan lifecycle management, data-driven learning algorithms; among others. Person will also be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the company strategy across Business Operation, Process Risk, Legal, Compliance and General Administration Job Role - Strategy Level : - Understanding the Business and taking decisions/lead to select an appropriate Digital Framework. - Setting the Technological Vision of the company. Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development and technological integration initiatives. Setting up timelines for the evaluation, development, and appropriate deployment of resources. Job Role - Functional Level : - Maintain knowledge and understanding of cutting-edge technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices - Ensure that technology standards and best operational practices are maintained across the organization by building up team, training of team members and retention of talent. - Establishing governance processes and control to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and the organization's resources are used responsibly, particularly in the areas of digital initiative, operation, legal and compliance. - Share knowledge with the organization's Board of Directors, investors, staff, various partners and Business Associates. - Knowledge and understanding of various Banking/NBFC platforms - Experience / exposure of API integration with Bnaks/NBFCs Job Role - Operational Level : - Select and manage company staff or outsourced vendors who will implement the application. - Work individually and with team as User Experience Designer to prepare a prototype of the company's application or platform. - Select or define the company's software development methodology. - Establish a specification conformance and testing regimen based on user stories and the User Experience design. - Establish the initial architecture for the application. - Establish and supervise the software development process, setting short-term objectives and assessing progress as defined by the selected software development methodology. - Establish and supervise a quality assurance process, including integration and system testing. Eligibility Criteria : - Mindset to accept challenging role in a start-up - Ability to own and deliver with confidence. - Minimum 5 Years of experience managing web application development. - Hands-on experience coding in more than one currently popular web application framework. - Familiar with more than one software development methodology. - Has Experience with Product Development and building the architecture of the product. - Experience of managing risk, compliance and governance related to Product Development, implementation and management. - Has worked in a financial institution or a fintech company related to analysing loans and/or alternate credit ratings.
