HEAD IT Infrastrcture
Client - Leading Australian Bank
Location - Gurgaon(Cybercity )
Shift Timing - 8 AM to 5 PM
Purpose:
- Working as a local representative for the Executive, Infrastructure and Head of Commercial Optimisation and Productivity.
- Maintain a skilled and engaged workforce to support technology operations and change, including a flexible and cost-effective workforce strategy.
- Collaborate with peer Heads of to deliver technical and business operations that support business unit key performance objectives.
- Support the movement of workload from Australia to India, owning the local outcomes and quality of delivery
- Ensure India based staff maintain levels of compliance to firm policies
- Identify opportunities to, and execute the movement of management accountability from Australia to India
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead strategic thinking on opportunities to leverage technology better, or optimise operations to improve service to colleagues or customers, reduce cost, reduce risk or gain competitive advantage.
- Define system and support service levels achievable within budget and system constraints in collaboration with key stakeholders. Monitor and maintain service levels.
- Develop and track a financial plan to meet budget for major financial categories: personnel; training; overtime.
- Deliverer change efficiently and according to estimated schedules and budget to an appropriate and expected level of quality.
- Operate prioritisation forums to collaborate, agree and provide visibility of technology change to domain owner and key stakeholders.
- Progress organisational strategy to move all infrastructure to Cloud, particularly leveraging Microsoft Azure program.
- Maintain and oversee system risk profile, continuously improving by mitigating identified risks according to priority.
- Manage major vendor relationships and contracts to achieve best value and hold vendors to account for service levels.
- Design, document and run effective controls, appropriate for the operating environment, reusing common controls where appropriate.
- Staff engagement, development, training and coaching including the effective management of non-performing staff.

Qualification Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Economics or Information Technology and preferably a post-graduate qualification (i.e. post graduate diploma / degree / Masters).
Experience:
- Managing and delivering large complex programs containing multiple
- streams, across multiple regions.
- Building, leading and managing teams between 10-200+ people.
- Managing & delivering multi-business unit initiatives.
- Contract & vendor management
- 15 years' experience working in technology.
- Experience in both technology change and technology operations.
5 years' experience managing large teams and managing managers
