Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT to lead our IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT infrastructure, network, security, and application development. They will be instrumental in driving innovation, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, servers, storage, and data centers.

- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the infrastructure to meet the organization's growing needs.

- Implement best practices for infrastructure management, including disaster recovery, backup solutions, and system monitoring.

Network Management:

- Develop and maintain the company's network architecture, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.

- Ensure the security and integrity of the network infrastructure, implementing robust security measures and protocols.

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize network efficiency.

Security Management:

- Develop and implement IT security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the company's data and systems from cyber threats.

- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.

- Stay abreast of the latest security trends and technologies to proactively mitigate risks and enhance the company's security posture.

Application Development:

- Lead the development and customization of applications to address specific business use cases and requirements.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality applications on time and within budget.

- Ensure that applications are user-friendly, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices and standards.

Team Leadership:

- Build and lead a high-performing IT team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to team members.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the IT department.

- Set clear goals and expectations for the team and conduct regular performance evaluations to drive individual and team excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 15-20 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in the consumer electronics or manufacturing industry.

- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, network architecture, security best practices, and application development methodologies.

- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing IT projects from inception to completion.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, PMP) are a plus.
