Head - Investor Relations - NBFC

Warburttons a leadership search organisation is retained to identify a strategic and experienced Head of Investor Relations for a large NBFC based out of Mumbai. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships between the company and its investors and will be responsible for crafting and implementing a comprehensive investor relations strategy, ensuring transparent communication, and facilitating a positive perception of the NBFC within the investment community.

As a Head of Investor Relations you will be responsible to

1. Develop and Execute IR Strategy

- Formulate a robust investor relations strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and financial objectives.

- Implement effective communication plans to enhance the company's visibility and credibility among existing and potential investors.

2. Financial Communication

- Communicate financial results, business performance, and key developments to shareholders, analysts, and the broader investment community.

- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and other materials for quarterly earnings releases, conferences, and investor meetings.

3. Relationship Management

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and key stakeholders.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and ensure timely and accurate responses.

4. Market Analysis and Benchmarking

- Conduct thorough market analysis and benchmarking to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment.

- Provide insights to senior management on market dynamics and investor expectations.

5. Regulatory Compliance

- Stay abreast of relevant regulatory requirements and ensure the company's investor relations activities comply with all applicable regulations.

- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory issues.

6. Investor Events and Roadshows

- Plan and coordinate investor events, conferences, and roadshows to showcase the company's growth prospects and investment opportunities.

- Arrange one-on-one meetings with key investors to strengthen relationships and address specific concerns.

A successful applicant should have:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

- Atleast 10 years of experience in investor relations / equity analysis within the financial sector, preferably with NBFCs.

- Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.

- Existing network with analysts and institutional investors

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

- Demonstrated track record of successful relationship management with investors and analysts.
