Head - Investor Relations/M&A - PE Firms/Investment Banking - IIM/ISB/FMS

Our client is looking at a investor relationship management person who will have to ensure an effective two way communication between investors and the company. The person will play an active role in preparing the organization for fund raise exercise, private and/or public. The job also involves identifying opportunities for strategic alliances, partnerships, mergers and acquisition and do the initial assessment/due-diligence of the same before presenting these opportunities to the leadership team.

Experience 8-14 Years

Education A Master's degree in Finance from IIM/ISB or similar Institute

B. Content & Context Factors

- Manage long term relations with existing investors

- Periodic Investor interactions and communication to keep them abreast of the latest developments, result declarations, investment pitches and query resolutions

- Analyze investor calls of competitors and provide insights

- Work with stakeholders across functions to collate the data for investor presentations and reporting

- IPO Preparation

- Post IPO relationship management with analysts and investors

- Development of company's M&A strategy and investment plan

- Identify acquisition targets and strategic partnership opportunities

- Assess the strategic fit of the target companies

- Plan and execute the due diligence of the potential acquisition target

- Portfolio management of existing investments/companies

C. Critical Success Factors (CSF)

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an eye for details

- Should have exposure of initiating and concluding M&A transactions as an advisor

- Should have exposure of preparing a company for receiving private investment or public listing

- 8-10 years of experience in PE Firms / Investment Banking
