Location : Mumbai

Role Description :

- Responsible for creating the appropriate strategy, framework and tactics(as well as delivery) basis very compelling investor relations road map

Working with : BU CEO

Key accountibilities / responsibilities :

- Develop a robust investor relations strategy and framework

- Instill investor confidence and belief in the company's vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value

- Build and maintain relationships with Institutional investors (including security analysts, portfolio managers, directors of research, investment department heads, and strategists), individual investors, wealth managers, stock brokerage security analysts and their directors of research, credit analysts, debt holders, debt-rating agencies and business and financial media.

- Manage equity research and investor relationships

- Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team

- Analyse and present financial trends, competitor behaviour, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business

- Leads the collection, analysis, and presentation of feedback to the company of investors- perceptions and opinions, brokerage security analysts- positions and summaries, relative stock price movements, and periodic ownership analysis.

- Responsible for overseeing and managing quarterly earnings and conference calls

- Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters

- Help prepare the company's Annual Report

Education, Experience, Certification :

Essential/Desirable :

- 10-12+ years- experience dealing with investors and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community and Equity Research analysts

- Investor Relations Charter (IRC) or CFA or FMVA

- An MBA or FMVA certification.

- Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment, and be able to meet tight deadlines

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and impact messages for inspiring employees and investors

- The job requires a corporate professional who also has entrepreneurial skills and looks to the future with optimism to envision what could be possible. Success in this role requires collaboration, communication, leadership, and vision

- Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry

- Intimately familiar financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors

- A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends

Operational :

- Strong understanding of laws and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements

People :

- The head of IR must be a seasoned professional that has extensive experience in generating business results and leading teams with effective leadership and management skills.
