Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Investor Relations Management: - Lead the investor relations (IR) strategy, effectively communicating the company's financial performance, growth strategy, and business prospects to investors and analysts globally. - Develop and maintain a robust investor relations plan that aligns with the company's strategic objectives. 2. Fundraising and Capital Raising Initiatives: - Spearhead fundraising efforts, by identifying opportunities, pitching to potential domestic and international investors, and managing relationships with banks and financial institutions. - Manage and facilitate the onboarding of new marquee investors and increase overall sell-side coverage. 3. Investor Communications and Reporting: - Manage all aspects of investor communications, including quarterly earnings calls, annual reports, IR website content, and investor presentations. - Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of financial and operational information to the investor community. - Serve as the key point of contact for the investment community, presenting a consistently applied investment message on behalf of the company. 4. Market Insights and Feedback: - Monitor market trends and investor perceptions to provide strategic advice to senior management. Analyze competitor behavior, market dynamics, and investor feedback to refine IR strategies and corporate messaging. - Provide feedback to management regarding the investment community's perception of how the company is being managed and their view of its financial results. - Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team, conducting in-depth competition analysis and offering strategic ideation. 5. Leadership and Team Management: - Lead the investor relations team by setting comprehensive goals, developing talent, and fostering a high-performance culture. - Ensure alignment of IR activities with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. Manage and facilitate equity research and investor relationships at different levels - from the IR team to senior management to CMD level. Academic Qualifications & Skills required: Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; alternatively, an MBA in Finance from a reputable institution. Experience: - At least 18 years of relevant experience in investor relations within a conglomerate environment. Proven track record in fund raising and managing complex investor relations functions. Skills: 1. Exceptional ability to articulate complex financial information and strategic visions clearly and convincingly. 2. Strong networking skills with a well-established presence and credibility within the investor community. 3. Extensive experience in the sell-side of the IR function, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial markets and investment strategies. 4. Superior presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives and external stakeholders. 5. Strategic thinker with the ability to operate both at a tactical and strategic level.
