International Sales Head (Packaging Films- America, Europe & Asia)
You are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand the market reach of the company's flexible packaging products across international markets & develop strong customer relationships and ensure the achievement of sales targets and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion:
- Identify and assess potential international markets for flexible packaging products across America & Europe.
- Develop market entry strategies and expansion plans to penetrate new markets.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals.
- Set clear sales targets, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with the senior management team to establish pricing strategies and product positioning.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers, distributors, and partners.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Negotiate and close deals with key clients.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and periodic reports to assess sales performance.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt the sales strategy accordingly.
- Maintain a CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export documentation.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and adhere to export laws.
- Maintain all necessary export-related documentation and records.
Travel and Trade Shows:
- Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Travel to target markets to establish and strengthen business relationships.
- Promote the company's products and services to potential clients.
Qualification And Experience:
- BE & MBA with Proven experience in export sales and international market development, in the flexible packaging industry (packaging, flexible plastic, stretch film)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and documentation.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel.
