Client: The client is Delhi NCR based medical devices and apparels manufacturing firm producing high-quality, reliable medical disposable devices. The company has been at the forefront of innovation in the healthcare industry and has established itself as a trusted partner in healthcare facilities across countries.

Head Of International Sales/Exports, Medical Devices, 18+ years

The company seeks a dynamic and experienced professional to lead its international sales and exports division.

The role holder will develop and implement global sales strategies, expand the customer base, and drive revenue growth in international markets.

Key Responsibility Areas:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.

- Conduct market research, identify emerging trends, prepare market reports and create sales forecasts to support strategic decision-making and business planning.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, healthcare providers, and government agencies, to promote products and services.

- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential customers to secure new business partnerships.

- Collaborate with the product management team for successful product launches, ensuring thorough preparation and briefing of team members.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders to enhance brand loyalty and customer satisfaction.

- Develop export strategies to accelerate sales cycle, optimize distribution channels and streamline logistics to meet customer demand effectively

- Ensure compliance with documentation requirements for export transactions, international trade regulations, customs documentation, export licenses, and regulatory filings.

- Identify and mitigate risks related to international sales, such as currency fluctuations, geopolitical factors, and regulatory changes.

Reports to: Director, Direct team: 7 people

Desired Experience and competencies:

- MBA/Master's degree from IIFT in international business

- 18+ years of experience in international sales/BD, preferably in the medical devices industry

- Proven track record in executing global sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion

- Strong understanding of export regulations, logistics, and documentation requirements

- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills,

- Customer-centricity and ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds

- Willingness to travel internationally and manage work across different geographies and time zones

- Strong collaborative skills to engage and seamlessly work with external and internal stakeholders
