Hiring for Head of International Accounting and Finance

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/CMA/CA and/or MBA

Experience - 12+years

Location - Mohali

Financial Leadership:

- In-depth knowledge of US accounting standards under GAAP, and familiarity with IFRS.

- Demonstrated excellence in finance, accounting, budgeting, controls, and reporting.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly MS Excel. Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.

- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support business growth and profitability.

Accounting Management:

- Oversee the financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements for the India entity.

- Coordinate with the US parent company for consolidation purposes and ensure compliance with US accounting standards under GAAP.

Payroll and Cash Flow Management:

- Manage and ensure timely processing and funding of payroll.

- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds for working capital needs.

Compliance and Audits:

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards.

- Coordinate audits and ensure proper filing of tax returns.

- Maintain appropriate internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.

Vendor Relations and Banking:

- Manage international banking relationships and vendor relations.

- Ensure efficient and effective financial operations through effective vendor management and negotiation.

Global Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, staying updated on changes and implications for India entity.

- Maintain accurate record-keeping to meet auditors' requirements and government agencies' regulations.

Team Leadership:

- Serve as the office lead, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

- Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities as appropriate.
