Essential qualifications and experience
Professionally qualified (CA, CISA, or an MBA from a reputed institute)
- Minimum of 14-15 years of overall experience (of which 3 years of experience of heading the internal audit function of a similar sized business will be preferable)
- Should have experience of working in global markets and/ or with international stakeholders
The Head of Internal Audit is expected to:
- Lead internal audit, risk management, internal financial controls, and investigation activities.
- Provide assurance to key stakeholders, including the Audit and Risk Management Committees of the Board and Executive Committee
- Work closely with business and function leaders to drive audit, controls, and risk management agenda
IFC review:
- Lead the Internal Financial Controls review process across all businesses and functions
- Provide an independent and objective assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of operational systems and controls
Enterprise risk management and mitigation:
- Lead and execute the Risk Management plan for the year, including regular business/ function level risk assessments with senior stakeholders
