With the goal of mobilizing domestic capital into impact enterprises, Intellecap launched the Intellecap Impact Investment

Network (I3N or I-cube N) about 2.5 years back. I3N is India's first and largest angel network focusing on funding impact enterprises. I3N is an exclusive network of ~70 investors including some influential individuals and early stage funds who come together to support daring young entrepreneurs with cutting-edge solutions to solve problems at the bottom of our social pyramid. Our vision is to provide unprecedented scale to impact investing by democratizing it. In the last 2.5 years since inception, we have screened over 1500 companies, showcased over 50 companies to our investors, and 10 of these companies have received investment. Location : Mumbai, India

Experience :

- Over 10 years of relevant venture capital / private equity / investment banking experience.

- Evaluating startups, facilitating negotiations, transaction documentation.

- Keen interest in the developmental / impact investing ecosystem globally.

- Existing relationships with the angel investors, domestic investment groups or HNI community is a plus.

- Experience of handling P&L is a plus.

Role:

This is a leadership and entrepreneurial role, where the candidate will be taking over the P&L responsibility of I3N and build the next phase for scale. The candidate will be leading a young and dynamic 6-7 member team, and reporting directly to the CEO of Intellecap.

The main responsibilities will include :

- Own the strategic direction and growth for I3N.

- Build and own the P&L of I3N India + Africa.

- Sales to potential members (HNIs, family offices, funds) and recruiting them onto the network.

- Sales for fixed fee enterprise development assignments.

- Oversee team in pipeline generation, screening of enterprises, investment facilitation and transaction execution.

- Guide growth of network in Africa, and alignment with India.

Required Skill Set :

We are looking for candidates who have:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong networking skills and ability to connect dots between different stakeholders.

- Ability to think big picture, and deliver P&L.

- Experience of managing a young and growing team.

- Financial modeling, transaction execution, deal documentation, negotiation experience.

- Ability to prepare and deliver high-quality presentations.

- Excellent business acumen and ability to understand operational aspects of businesses.

In addition, the right candidate would :

- Understand the macro picture of the startup ecosystem and be able to align to it.

- Have an all-rounded personality and patience for working in a people-centric job.

- Be able to work in an unstructured environment with minimal hand holding.

- Be confident, yet humble, and have the ability to work well in teams.
