Head Innovations - R&D - Chemical

Hiring for a Head of R&D, Innovations for a Large US Multinational in Chemical industry.

Desired Profile:

- Candidates with experience in specialty chemicals, construction chemicals etc are best suitable.

- 10+ years leadership experience in multinational R&D

- Project management, planning and leadership experience.

- MSc Chemical or Chemistry

Brief of the JD:

- Develop relationships with key material suppliers, universities, professional and trade institutes and other relevant external bodies to ensure engagement with potential new technologies and market trends.

- Ensure that adequate facilities and capabilities are available to meet current and future product development and technical support needs.

- As Innovation process owner, manage the timely, efficient and responsive execution of development activities including ensuring that projects proceed according to agreed plans with the full engagement of all stakeholders.

- Identify equipment needs and modifications required to provide the required capability of development and technical support activities

- Maintain the laboratory at an appropriate operating standard via regular internal audits.
