Client Details : 

Our client is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company based in India with a Niche design and innovation studio in Mumbai. They are responsible for regions including India and other regulated and non regulated markets with a wide range of pharmaceuticals in India and overseas. The company has over 190 medications, 60 active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for drug manufacture, diagnostic kits, critical care, and biotechnology products.

Description : 

- Attract, retain and mentor multi-disciplinary design & innovation team that can create value for the core business

- Ensure strong integration and seamless operations between Design studio and India business teams

- Collaborate with India business leadership, including Head of Marketing (India business), to apply Ethnographic Insighting, Ideation and Rapid Prototyping skills towards brand transformation and strategic marketing initiatives & priorities of India business

- Collaborate with Head of ITBPE/Digital to institutionalize Innovation & Digital mindset, cross-functional process and initiatives in the organization

- Continuously define/refine the vision and roadmap for the disign studio that aligns with the organizational strategy and goals

- Co-create and align organizational leadership (LC / MC / COO / CEO) in terms of the studio goals, projects and priorities

- Ensure successful outcomes and impact from the projects and initiatives of the studio, for India busines

Profile : 

- Should have experience in leading and managing a team of innovation / design practitioners in a consulting and/or corporate role

- Should have the ability and demonstrable experience in leading and inspiring highly talented and creatively inclined team from design, psychology, anthropology, business backgrounds

- Should have significant experience leading, evangelizing, architecting, planning and executing design thinking and innovation projects of various types (product, service, business model; long-term & short-term focused; high and low ambiguity & uncertainty; strategic and tactical)

- Should have significant experience engaging with, building conviction and alignment with CXO and senior management level stakeholders, especially in terms of Innovation / Design / related areas of work
