Head - Infrastructure - IT

Position : Head-Infrastructure

Location : Bangalore

Client : Leading Software Development company with its head office in Bangalore.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

- Define strategy for next generation Infrastructure platform - Public Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, SD-WAN, Collaboration

- CxO level engagement, Executive Leadership, Financial Management, Offshore transitions and

- Strong experience in Handling Public Cloud (AWS, AZURE, Google & Oracle) Design, Migration & Implementation Projects.

- Sound knowledge in frameworks such as ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, CMMI and Cloud.

- Strong pre-sales knowledge in building collaterals, assets, differentiators and should have a proven track record of converting Sales qualified leads.

- Specialized in implementation of robust Data Center Infrastructure and Cloud computing, for customers with 1000 to 10000 users.

- Creation and delivery of documentation for system architectural design, implementation strategies and delivery plans to internal quality standards.

- Proven competencies in managing IT infrastructure services, Remedy, Helpdesk management services, SLA monitoring, troubleshooting, and interfacing clients to resolve IT related issues. Expertise in IT Operations, IT Transition, IT Project management, IT infrastructure solution design, IT Release Management, Change management, IT Help Desk, Virtual Infrastructure, RIM, IT Solution Sales and Pre-Sales support for IT Solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

- Graduate / Post Graduate - BE, Btech / MTech

- Experience : At least 15 years of experience in the Head-Infrastructure with the last 2-3 years in the role of a Head-Infrastructure in an IT services company.

Certifications :

- ITIL Expert Level

- EXIN ISO 20000 Bridge

- EXIN Cloud Foundation certificate (Cloud Framework)

- PRINCE 2 Foundation and PRINCE 2 practitioner in Project Management

Competency :

Managing client infrastructure from Server Build, Migration, Storage, Backup & Recovery, Virtualization (Hyper-V & VMware), OS support, Public Cloud (Azure, AWS), Possess global IT experience across various verticals and domains of Information Technology i.e. Global Network & Telecom Infrastructure, Datacenter Design & Management, Enterprises Applications, Technology Transformation Projects, IT Solutions & Pre-Sales support, Global IT Operations Management (24x7), IT Supply chain/ vendor management.
