Responsibility :

To provide direction and leadership for executing key infrastructure transformation programmes like Datacentre & Cloud. Ensuring smooth transition of all systems/applications to the new data center without impact on business process and applications.

Plan, design, drive and head complete IT infrastructure operations & DR strategy in alignment with overall IT strategy and business objectives. Work closely with IT functions & Service Partners to ensure smooth & superior IT Infrastructure & key Projects Delivery across all entities, Corporate office and Shared services organization

Plan, head & manage Distributed Systems and End User Support, email services including access through smart phones, adequate headroom capacity, IT Networks (spread across multiple Tier III and IV, 25+ Tier II Datacentres and 100+ MTX connected on multilayer redundant MPLS), DBA, Servers and Storage Systems, Wintel and Email systems & IT Assets ensuring High Availability of all critical systems timely delivery of IT asset refresh while contributing to IT strategy, architecture and budgeting processes

Must have :

- Overall 15+ years of relevant experience with minimum 8+ years management and leadership experience in IT Operations & Development.

- Comprehensive understanding of the telecommunications and IT markets & the current technological trends in Data Centres from equipment foot print, consolidation, power usage and high availability perspective.

- Substantial technological background, gained in global, multi-cultural organisations, along with excellent leadership capabilities, keen understanding of IT state-of-the-art IT technologies and strategic perspectives.

- Ability to communicate complex technical dependencies comprehensively at Executive Management Level

- Ability to handle diverse IT portfolios including concurrent multiple mega transformation programs and manage large outsourced service partners with scale

- Degree in telecommunications or information technology or similar from institutions of repute (IITs or equivalent).

- Substantial knowledge & certification in IT Infrastructure strategy, architecture, processes and their integration along with experience in strategic planning & execution.

- Distinct analytical and systematic thinking.

- Ability to present ideas & performance in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
