Responsible for Leading the IT function for developing and spearheading IT strategy & initiatives, integrating the business operations through IT network, augmentation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure, Security and administration of IT databases and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of utilization of all IT resources.

- IT Engineering Graduate from a Premier institute

- Management Post Graduate from a Premier institute

- Over 25 years of experience in handling IT Operations in a diverse roles. Atleast 10 years experience at HOD positions in IT function in a utility industry

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for maintaining system by network administration, database administration, software development for new connection; billing systems etc.

- Responsible for developing and implementing IT Strategy using the equipment's required to meet the projected data tariff.

- To review and formulate IT policies for the company and ensure implementation of the same.

- Responsible for systems administration activities such as database management, storage, retrieval, creating backup, systems space utilization etc.

- Responsible for Identifying systems and procedures, which can be computerized.

- Responsible for implementing system for information protection by ensuring proper access control on servers & networks.

- Responsible for developing, maintaining, modifying the software systems on various platforms, other manual systems and procedures, and improving the same by removing deficiencies in the systems and procedures.

- Responsible for maintaining and repairs all computer hardware, software and networks in the organization.

- Benchmark with the best IT practices of similar companies in the industry and identify measures to bridge the gaps to improve performance of the function. To plan, develop, implement, monitor and achieve performance targets of the function based on overall IT strategy of the company and its philosophy.

- To proactively direct subordinates in carrying out day-to-day operations as per set targets / guidelines.

- To promote a work culture with cordial working that fosters individual growth, team spirit and creativity to overcome challenges and achieve departmental and organizational goals

- To ensure that all procedures are laid down properly and adhered to while practising.

- To plan the deployment, re-organization of Operations manpower for optimal use.

- To monitor the performance of officers / staff.

- Responsible for generation of regular & need based MIS reports.

- To administer overall code of discipline in the section.

- Responsible for overall coordination with all internal and external stakeholders for smooth functioning of the department.
