Head - Information Technology - Manufacturing

Requirement of the role - 

Qualifications & Experience - 

- BE / MCA / PGDCA or equivalent with 15+ years of experience in managing and leading IT function in a manufacturing environment

- Strong exposure on SAP/ERP, various Business IT applications including Sales automation tools, IT infrastructure and IT security

MUST HAVE

- 15+ years of experience in managing and leading IT function in a Manufacturing Environment

- Formulate IT policy and IT security policy.

- Develop guidelines / procedures for IT security / data security / LAN Management etc.

- Ensure optimum uptime for Networks, Servers, Data Centers, Power distribution (UPS), mailing system, .Net and other enterprise applications

Dimension of the role

- Strategic role for contribution to business planning regarding technology and systems required to maintain company operations and competitiveness.

Key Deliverable of the role:-

- Formulate and drive the annual business plan and annual activity plan for the function

- Ensure adherence to departmental budgets

- Establish long-term need for information systems, and plan strategy for developing systems and acquiring hardware to meet application needs

- Function as top level consultant to assist end users in determining IT requirements and solutions

- Ensure timely installation and smooth rollout of the IT application in all new plants and locations

- Ensure confidentiality and reliability of corporate data, proprietary information, and intellectual property

- Prepare the IT department budget along with business

- Ensure accurate submission of new application requirements to projects team for IT needs in new projects / expansions

- Undertake automation initiatives for improvement of processes in various user departments.
