Responsibilities of the Role Own the country IT strategy, Business process Change Agenda and technology road maps working closely with the General Managers, Regional Finance Director, Regional HR Director, SMT, Group IT function, CIO, CTO to optimise the use of Data, Processes, Information and Technology - Lead IT to ensure alignment to business goals and outcomes for both the country and wider group - Establish and manage close relationships with local and group stakeholders, business process owners and senior management team - Support the winning of new business and retaining of existing clients through the effective development of - go to market- solutions and tools and assisting the Bid team through the Bid process and client presentations - Establish and effectively manage relationships with third party / outsourced service providers and local business Partnerships, ensure local knowledge and compliance guidelines are adhered to. - Ensure all Programmes and Projects are delivered through a common governance model and consistent standards. Maintain and develop monthly reporting and the internal PMO function - Lead the IT integration / separation for acquisitions and disposals working closely with Group IT - Actively promote and implement the Group Information Security strategy and framework supporting colleagues in the understanding, implementation and maintenance of the Information Security programme - Support the delivery of business transformation programmes providing key input, leadership and guidance to business colleagues - Manage the In-Country's IT expenditure and budgets in line with Group and Regional objectives. Drive cost improvement initiatives to optimise the IT cost of ownership. Ensure high level of visibility and full transparency of costs - Engage with the external customer Demand Chain and internal Supply Chain to create and deliver Innovative IT solutions in line with global, regional and local requirements - Participate and represent the Region in the Group wide Technology leadership team, contributing, supporting and enhancing the overall team delivery. - Work closely with and support the Group CTO to ensure the Infrastructure deployed across the region is optimised for performance, investment and aligned to the Group wide infrastructure strategy. - Align Applications to the business target operating model and guide colleagues through the mapping of business capabilities to business processes and the supporting technologies - Own and manage regional risk register and disaster recovery capabilities along with mitigating actions and reporting of progress against mitigation plans. - Deliver and optimise the IT Service and BAU Support in line with regional and group requirements driven through best practice IT service management - Ensure Management Information and Business Intelligence solutions align to both External and Internal needs. Work with the Group CIO and CTO to ensure solutions align to the Group IT Strategy and standards for information reporting
