Client Details: Our client is one of the world's largest FMCG Company with an employee base of over 220000. The company is growing rapidly in India and is looking for an IR head PAN INDIA
Description:
- Understanding the company's overall business and linking the same to IR policies
- Responsible for creating and implementing centralised IR policies across all plants with an overall employee
- Providing guidance to leadership and employees with respect to company policies, local and national employment laws
- Conducting internal workplace investigations as required
- Engage with employee groups and union representatives with focus on communication and problem solving to ensure excellent employee and labour relations.
- Collaborate with business and HR to access organisational effectiveness and realign policies if required
- Serve as a role model for employees to implement and reiterate the overall organisational values
- Managing a team of 5-7 direct reports and report into the Head HR
Profile:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Law
- At least 10+ years of work experience
- Robust knowledge of all HR/IR policies and statutory compliance is mandatory
- Has prior work experience in handling unions, lock outs, dharnas etc
- Has prior experience in FMCG/ manufacturing sector
- Ability to lead by example and effectively deliver the core organisational values
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
