Head - Industrial Engineering - Automotive Manufacturing

Education: B.Tech/M.Tech (Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering)

Role :

Lead, control and organize the engineering processes in the plant to ensure that on time, qualitative and quantitative production delivery of products to the customer is possible. This should be at the right cost (in line with budget and the principles of the Continental Business System CBS)

Competencies :

- Ability to operate within global perspective

- Should have a strategic orientation towards growing sales

- Mentoring and leadership skills

- Knowledge of local language and relevant commercial and labour laws

- Ability to collaborate extensively with global team

- Professional experience (at least 3 years) in manufacturing field

- Experience in automotive business (approx. 2 years) and understanding of automotive environment

- Cross functional experience, preferred

- Experience with production processes in lean production

- At least 3 years in a leadership position, preferably in operational units with direct and indirect responsibility for other individuals

- Experience in working with international teams and understanding for different foreign cultures (NAFTA, Asia, several European cultures)
