Head - Indirect Taxation - Automobile

Indirect Taxation Head ( AGM) for a very large MNC automobile company with multiple manufacturing sites in India.

Key Deliverable for the position are:

- Overall Monitoring & supervision of Indirect Taxes- Excise/Sales Tax/VAT/Service Tax of all locations.

- Define the legal process & guidelines when it is changed/amend as per govt. policies for Indirect Tax matters & ensure its implementation to avoid any penalty/demand by any tax authorities.

- Ensure all Domestic/ Export Invoices are carried at approved prices applicable taxes & timely.

- Participate in all statutory Audits and Assessment by various tax/ revenue authorities & liasioning with them.

- Prepared & filing the desired information/data in prescribed Formats as required by tax authorities as & when required.

- Get the Final Tax Assessment completed & clean Audit Assessment without any additional demand & penalties by Tax authorities.

- Overall Controlling/Monitoring of Indirect taxes in connection with plant/ various Depot /warehouse.

- Filing of export documents & subsidy claims & optimizing them as and when the law changes

- Ensure timely duty draw back brand letter & Rebate claim from excise & timely claim reliasation from Custom Authority.

- Coordination with Internal/external agencies for timely executions.

- Ensure to Duty Draw Back claim & rebate claim from Revenue department within three month.

- GST migration in GSTN portal to update all our existing Registration information in respective states and its implementation at depot's level.
